Acupuncture is considered Holistic medicine because the whole body is assessed as well as the local disorder,  whether it is musculo-skeletal or internal.  Acupuncture is a completely natural medicine and it works within the body strategically and problem- focused;  Treatments are customized, tailored specifically  to each person's body and its particular needs.
            - "Same illness;  Different  Treatment"

Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine are, by themselves, a complete Medical system that may be used as a sole therapeutic option in the  treatment of numerous disorders, however,  since acupuncture  is a safe, natural medicine it may be combined with your existing biomedical therapy to better manage your diagnosed condition or pain: reducing pain medication needs and  hastening healing  are just two benefits of acupuncture.

Acupuncture works on both the superficial and musculo-skeletal part of the body as well as internal organs;  Heart,  Lungs,  Liver,  Gall Bladder,  Stomach,  Pancreas (G.I.), Large Intestine,  Small Intestine, Kidneys,  Urinary Bladder,  Uterus,  Brain,  Spinal Cord;  It works in terms of the Meridian System which is composed of specific Acu-points that have been developed as a science aiming to positively influence the body's processes and correct functioning to promote healing and support optimal health.

What is "Traditional" medicine? Is it the same as Natural Medicine?

Traditional + Holistic + Natural
Traditional means Acupuncture is, historically, Chinese or 'Oriental' traceable back to antiquity; Holistic means that the paradigm of this medicine considers the entire body with all of its integrated systems and how they interact;  Natural means that the primary mode of action is biological, not pharmaceutical as in Western Medicine.
